CAMPAIGNS
In May 2021, Harvard FL&R launched its first-ever campaign with the Native American Alumni of Harvard University (NAAHU) to raise awareness of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit #MMIWG2S crisis.
Red dresses have become symbols of stolen sisters, and so with the support of WeAr Global Magazine, Harvard FL&R and NAAHU created a series of 16 images to represent the 16 Indigenous womxn and girls who go missing or are murdered daily. These images are paired with important facts and data about the crisis, and in the final image we offer some actions you can take to help.
If you would like to support the safety and wellbeing of our Indigenous sisters, then please
download these images and share them with your network.
You can also tell your legislators to support VAWA, or the Violence Against Women Act.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to creating more educational campaigns in the future!
